Lovely park. Beautiful play area for kids including a nice fountain. I’m surprised they don’t have the pavilion fixed up. Wonderful potential for Rose Gardens, and a very nice place. But they’ve let it run down. Next time I buy their shoot some photos…. Once again wondering about the tax base for Amarillo as there should be ample park funds.

It was a good stop to stretch our legs and eat lunch while traveling, but some lady stalked over to us and took photos of our vehicle so we left assuming she was going to try and report us like one of the other reviews stated.

It was on my path to a new found journey. I'm still here, as the locust do their chatting in the trees. It's a nice time to be here, it's not hot and quiet.
